Born in New Jersey in 1957, where I lived and worked until 1989. After graduating from Columbia High School in 1976, I worked for the next 12 yars for various Wall Street brokerage firms on their Municipal Trading desk. In 1989 I married and moved to Alabama where I've raised 3 children, worked at local volunteer organizations and owned an antique/gift shop. I have always been involved in the arts, mainly dance, but at some indefinite moment visual arts became my real work, a path I never dreamed would become a career.
I primarily paint in oils and acrylics and love painting the human form. My education consists of experimentation, books, museums and private lessons. I've sold pieces at various local galleries and art shows. I belong to the Eastern Shore Arts Center and Mobile Arts Council.
